زارت رئيسة المجلس الأعلى والتنمية البشرية الوزيرة ميادة سوار الدهب مركز التدريب المهني ومهارات الأعمال كرري بتاريخ 16/12/2018م وكان الغرض من الزيارة تفقد احوال المركز والعاملين، ومن ثم قامت الوزيرة بالاجتماع مع العاملين بالمركز لمناقشة قضايا العمل والعاملين حيث استمعت سيادتها لافادات العاملين بخصوص هذه القضايا وقد وعدت سيادتها بدراسة هذه

القضايا ومعالجة ما يمكن معالجته لتذليل كل المعوقات التي تحول دون تحقيق أهداف التدريب المهني.

- دورة المنتجات الجلدية بمركز كرري:

استهدفت دورة المنتجات الجلدية بمركز كرري المقامة بتاريخ 16/12/2018م نخبة من العاملين في مجال المنتوجات الجلدية لغرض تأهيلهم ليصبحوا نواة تدريب في مجال المنتجات الجلدية ولكي يساهمو في تدريب الحرفيين في مواقعهم الأمر الذي يؤدي إلى جودة الإنتاج وذيادة الإنتاجية وبالتالي ذياده الدخل القومي بالبلاد. تم تنفيذ الدورة بواسطة مدربين من منظمة الكوميسا (COMESA) لتدريب مجموعة من المتدريبن من قسم الجلود بمركز كرري، مركز البحوث لتحسين الجلود ،حاضنة الجلود بجامعة السودان وبعض الحرفيين في سوق العمل.

CVM Pays Courtesy Visit to ALLPI to Explore Collaboration for Ethiopia’s Leather Sector Development

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – 7 August 2026: The African Leather and Leather Products Institute (ALLPI) received a delegation from CVM Ethiopia/Marche Region for a courtesy meeting aimed at exploring opportunities for institutional and technical collaboration to support the development of Ethiopia’s leather sector.

The meeting, held at the ALLPI Board Room, provided an opportunity for both institutions to introduce their respective programmes, share priorities, and identify potential areas of cooperation. The visit formed part of CVM’s Ethiopia–Marche Region cooperation programme and focused particularly on strengthening the leather sector ecosystem and supporting leather-sector enterprises in Ethiopia.

The meeting was opened with welcome remarks by Mr. Nicholas Mudungwe, Executive Director of ALLPI, followed by an introduction of the CVM delegation and an overview of ALLPI’s mandate, priorities, and ongoing initiatives.

During the meeting, CVM highlighted its long-standing engagement in Ethiopia, including its humanitarian activities and its broader commitment to “working with the poor.” In addition to these initiatives, CVM presented its interest in expanding its practical interventions in the leather sector through targeted technical and institutional support.
